Bone

Bone began as Jeff Smith's black-and-white comic, an unusually warm fantasy epic about three cartoonish cousins, Fone, Phoney, and Smiley Bone, run out of Boneville and stranded in a forested valley with dragons, talking bugs, and a darker plot creeping in at the edges. The blend is the whole trick: Looney Tunes comedy sitting comfortably beside a sweeping quest.
