Space Hulk is the video-game line spun out of Games Workshop's classic Warhammer 40,000 board game of the same name. The premise is fixed and claustrophobic: Terminator Space Marines clearing the cramped, debris-choked corridors of a drifting wreck against swarms of Genestealers, with death usually one bad roll away.
The games split into two camps. The 2013 release and its Ascension expansion stayed faithful to the turn-based board game, while Deathwing took the same setting first-person as a shooter, and Tactics added card mechanics and a side for the aliens. None reinvented the property, but together they translate one tense, corridor-by-corridor scenario into several formats. This is a games-only corner of the wider Warhammer 40,000 universe.
The Space Hulk franchise spans 4 games in the CrossBinge catalog.
Part of Warhammer 40,000.
