This is the mid-2000s reboot trilogy of Tomb Raider, the point where Crystal Dynamics took the series over and rebuilt Lara Croft for a new console generation. Legend (2006) restarted her story, Anniversary (2007) remade the original 1996 adventure on the newer engine, and Underworld (2008) closed the arc out. Together they form a deliberate trilogy rather than three loosely related sequels.
The focus across all three is the classic Tomb Raider loop: exotic locations, physical puzzle-solving, and acrobatic traversal through ancient ruins. It is a games-only run, and a transitional one, polishing the formula before the franchise reinvented Lara again a few years later.
The The Legend Trilogy franchise spans 3 games in the CrossBinge catalog.
