Yuki Ono
Yuki Ono is an actor, born 1984.
Anime dubbing rewards a particular kind of voice: big, warm, and able to swing from a joke to a threat without changing gear. Yuki Ono, born in Shizuoka in 1984, has that voice. He was represented by Atomic Monkey and now works freelance, and he sings as well as acts.
His best-known parts are the loud ones. Taiga Kagami in Kuroko's Basketball, Josuke Higashikata in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Rensuke Kunigami in BLUE LOCK, Isami Aldini in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: sports and shonen leads who need an open-throated delivery that can still go hard inside a single line. He is also Ultraman Belial in the recurring Ultraman series, which is the same instrument pointed the other way.
What makes him more than a shouting specialist is the tight work. Louis in BEASTARS is clipped, controlled and quietly furious, nothing like the sports roles. John H. Watson in Moriarty the Patriot is a different register again, dry and unhurried. Between the leads sits a long list of smaller credits, from a minor part in Steins;Gate through Shiro Ashiya in The Devil Is a Part-Timer!, Kazuichi Arai in From Me to You and Masayuki Hori in Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, which is the closest thing on his record to a straight comic performance.

Where to start with Yuki Ono
Start with the Diamond Is Unbreakable arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, because Josuke is the part his whole range was built for and the show gives him a full run at it.
Kuroko's Basketball comes next if you want the pure version of the loud Ono, with Kuroko's Basketball the Movie: Last Game as the payoff. BLUE LOCK is the modern equivalent and a better-looking show.
Then break the pattern deliberately. BEASTARS will surprise you if you came in through the sports titles, and it is the best-directed thing on his list. Moriarty the Patriot gives him a Watson who is not comic relief. Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun is the comedy pick, dry where the rest are loud, and The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is the easy watch.
