Tracy Hickman
Tracy Hickman was designing modules at TSR when he and Margaret Weis turned Dragonlance from a roleplaying setting into a novel series, which sold in the millions and created the shared-world tie-in as a commercial category. He has written or co-written more than sixty books, many with his wife Laura, and designed a great deal of game material besides. He is a practising Latter-day Saint and served a mission in Indonesia.

Where to start with Tracy Hickman
Dragons of Autumn Twilight opens the Chronicles trilogy, with Dragons of Winter Night and Dragons of Spring Dawning completing it. Time of the Twins begins Legends, which is the better trilogy and the reason Raistlin has the following he does. Doom of the Darksword comes from the Darksword books, written away from Krynn.
