Todd Haberkorn

Haberkorn works in dubbing, largely out of Texas, which for two decades has been where a great deal of English-language anime gets recorded. He directs as well as performs, and the roles that made his name are anime leads: Natsu Dragneel in Fairy Tail, Allen Walker in D.Gray-man, Death the Kid in Soul Eater, Keroro in Sgt. Frog, plus Korekiyo Shinguji and Teruteru Hanamura in the Danganronpa games. None of those are among the credits listed on this page.

What the page does show is the other half of the job. He voices Red Alert and Shockwave in the same Transformers series, which is a fair demonstration of the range: one anxious and helpful, one flat and unhurried, both recognizably him. Doctor Cornelius in X-Men '97 is clipped bureaucratic cruelty. Hwoarang in Tekken: Bloodline is swagger. Baatar Jr. in The Legend of Korra is resentment with an engineering degree.

The rest is the working voice actor's ledger: Sparrow Hood in Ever After High, Milque in Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, Porter Geiss in Monster High: Haunted, the Emperor in Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, roles across the Ben 10 films, additional voices in two Hotel Transylvania sequels. Dub work rewards reliability at least as much as range, and he has both, which is why the credit list keeps growing.
