Tim Treloar
Tim Treloar is an actor, born 1968.
Tim Treloar took the long way in. He is from Bridgend, worked in the Civil Service for the better part of a decade, and only then trained for three years at LAMDA. The career that followed has been mostly a stage one, including work at the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre, with screen jobs arriving in pieces around it.
The role he is best known for is not on screen at all. Treloar voices the Third Doctor in Big Finish's Doctor Who audio dramas, taking on a part originated on television decades earlier and carrying it across several years of releases. He also played Sergeant Major Tysoe in Bombshell. Neither is among the credits listed here.
What is here is the character work, and it is exactly the spread you would expect from a stage actor who takes what fits the diary: a farmer, a whale, a police officer, a suspect in a Christie adaptation.

Where to start with Tim Treloar
With six screen credits to choose from, the honest recommendation is Why Didn't They Ask Evans?, where a named part in a Christie adaptation gives him more room than the blockbusters did. Wolf is the darker option, a British crime series pitched considerably nastier than the usual, and his billing there as The Walking Man tells you roughly what register it works in.
Grace is the steady procedural, comfortable and competent. The film work is smaller: Maleficent has him as a farmer, Back to Black as a CID officer, and Dolittle hides him inside a whale. Start with the television.
