Shelley Calene-Black is an American voice actress who has worked mainly on English dubs of Japanese anime. Her leading roles there include Mireille in Noir, Kyou Fujibayashi in Clannad, Rutile in Land of the Lustrous, Medaka Kurokami in Medaka Box, Hamyuts Meseta in The Book of Bantorra and Hime in Princess Resurrection. In live action she played the lead, Maria Patterson, in Mariusz Kotowski's Esther's Diary.

Hear Starship Troopers: Invasion before the rest. Captain Jonah is a genuine lead, and the film leans on voice performance to carry characters the animation otherwise keeps at a distance.
Halo Legends is the more interesting object, an anthology of shorts made by different Japanese studios, and she voices Dr. Halsey, one of the few figures in that universe with real ambiguity attached. Taken 3 is a walk-on, included for completeness rather than pleasure.
