Shailyn Pierre-Dixon
Pierre-Dixon is a Canadian actress whose largest role arrived early. She played the young Aminata in the 2015 miniseries The Book of Negroes, the childhood section of a story that spans an entire life, and won the Canadian Screen Award for best supporting actress in a drama series for it in 2016.
The rest of what this catalogue holds is small: Frances in the teen series Between, and Zoe in Suicide Squad. She has also appeared in The Best Man Holiday and Jean of the Joneses, neither of which is here. Three credits is a thin record to judge anybody on, and the honest summary is that she gave one very good child performance in a well-regarded adaptation, and that this catalogue has not yet caught up with whatever came after it.

Where to start with Shailyn Pierre-Dixon
Only three of her credits sit in this catalogue, so the route is short. The Book of Negroes first and mostly: the early episodes are hers, the award came from them, and the miniseries treats its child lead as a full character rather than a device. It is a serious historical drama and it is the only real reason to be on this page.
After that there is not much. Between is a teen genre series with a decent hook and uneven execution, worth it only if the premise appeals to you. Suicide Squad contains her in a very small part, and you did not need this page to find that one.
