Scott Mills
Scott Mills is an actor, born 1974.
Mills is a radio voice that television keeps borrowing. An English DJ and presenter born in Eastleigh, Hampshire (the sources here disagree on the year), his real career is the Scott Mills show, which ran on BBC Radio 1 from 2004 to 2022 before he moved to Radio 2 and took over the station's flagship breakfast programme in January 2025. That run ended in 2026. He has also commentated on the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals for British audiences.
Almost every screen credit here is him being himself: Pointless Celebrities, Through the Keyhole, The Weakest Link, Britain's Got More Talent, Radio 1's Big Weekend, Top of the Pops, and the One Direction documentary One Direction: This Is Us. That is not a criticism. Presenters who last two decades do it by being reliable company, and the panel-show circuit is where British radio personalities get their faces attached to their voices.
The two credits that are not that are the interesting ones. Mongrels cast him as a version of himself inside a puppet sitcom, a stranger job than it sounds. And Bring Her Back is a genuine horror film with a genuine small acting part, which is the one line on this page nobody would have predicted.

Where to start with Scott Mills
There is one real reason to look at this page and it is Bring Her Back, a horror film with a serious reputation, where he appears in a small part that has nothing to do with presenting. Spotting a familiar radio voice in a film like that is a peculiar and quite funny experience.
Otherwise, Mongrels is the most entertaining of the self-appearances, because the show is a foul-mouthed puppet comedy that treats him as a character rather than a cameo. One Direction: This Is Us catches him at the peak of Radio 1's cultural reach, and Top of the Pops and Radio 1's Big Weekend are the music-institution credits.
The Weakest Link and Pointless Celebrities are panel-show filler, and there is no point pretending otherwise. The radio work, which is the entire career, is not among the credits listed here.
