Ryeoun is an actor, born 1998.
Go Yoon-hwan works under the single name Ryeoun, and that is how he is billed on everything in this list. He studied acting at university, had been working on Korean television since 2017, and spent his first years in the supporting tier, including three separate 2020 credits: Homemade Love Story, The World of My 17 and 18 Again.
2023 is the year the billing changed. He carried two series inside a single year, The Secret Romantic Guesthouse and Twinkling Watermelon, which the Wikipedia account behind this page marks as his first and second lead roles. Twinkling Watermelon travelled furthest, a time travel drama with music at the centre of it, and it is the clearest look at what he is for: an open, unguarded face that lets a scene play sincerely without tipping into sugar. Directors keep casting that quality and then finding ways to complicate it.
The work since has moved into harder rooms. Through the Darkness and Weak Hero sit in the crime register that the genre tags on this page keep pointing at, and Death's Game gave him a small part in a very large ensemble. Bloody Flower and the film OK! Madam: Bon Voyage are both listed here for 2026. He is at the point where the next couple of roles decide whether he becomes a lead or settles into being a very reliable second.

Where to start with Ryeoun
Twinkling Watermelon first, and not as a compromise: it is the fullest use anyone has made of him, and if a time travel premise sounds twee, the show is more disciplined than the pitch. The Secret Romantic Guesthouse is the other 2023 lead and the weaker of the pair, worth it only once you like him enough to want more.
Then go backwards. 18 Again and The World of My 17 are the teenage ensemble years and show how quickly he improved between them. Weak Hero and Through the Darkness are the darker register, both worth watching for their ensembles as much as for him. Leave Death's Game to completists; his part in it is tiny.
