Rick Gomez is an actor, born 1972.
Rick Gomez has one credit that follows him everywhere. As George Luz in Band of Brothers he played a radio technician in a miniseries with an enormous cast, and he remains one of the handful of faces viewers can still name two decades on, which in an ensemble that size counts as an achievement in itself.
Born in Bayonne, New Jersey in 1972, he came up through Nickelodeon, playing Endless Mike Hellstrom on The Adventures of Pete and Pete and voicing Sniz on KaBlam. The comic timing never went anywhere, even after a war miniseries filed him under dramatic actor.
Since then he has been the working television actor's working television actor: a detective on Boomtown, a recurring role on Justified, a part on Silo. In film he takes the small hard jobs, a role in Sin City, Tom Dowd in Ray, one strand of the interlocking structure in 11:14.
He is a voice actor of some standing too, best known to players as Zack Fair in the Final Fantasy VII games, which are not among the credits listed here, and he has a directing credit listed for 2026, which suggests the second half of the career may not look much like the first. He is the older brother of the actor Joshua Gomez.

Where to start with Rick Gomez
Band of Brothers is why anyone looks him up, and the honest advice is to watch the whole thing rather than hunt down his episodes, because the point of the performance is how it accumulates.
For the other half of him, The Adventures of Pete & Pete is a genuinely strange children's series, and he plays its bully with more wit than the format ever required.
Then the character work. Justified puts him opposite some of the best dialogue on American television. Silo uses him in a colder register. Ray gives him the studio scenes, which are the most enjoyable part of that film.
Final Flight of the Osiris is a short worth watching for the animation alone, and 11:14 is a small, nasty puzzle picture that deserved a much bigger audience.
