Rachel Miner
Rachel Miner is an actor, born 1980.
She started in the hardest room in the business. Rachel Miner played Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light from 1990 to 1995, learning the trade on a soap's production line, and took her first film credit the same year she started there, a childhood-flashback role in Alice.
The screen work that followed leaned dark and stayed there. Bully in 2001 cast her as Lisa Connelly, one of a group of Florida teenagers whose ordinary boredom curdles into something else, and she plays it with no self-defence and no actorly pleading, which is exactly what makes the film hard to sit through. Genre kept her busy after that: Eva in Haven, Penny Deerborn in Penny Dreadful, Jenna in The Butterfly Effect 3, Chelsea in Fear Itself, a sergeant in the Area 51 picture 51. She also appeared in The Black Dahlia and In Their Skin, neither of which is among the credits listed here.
Her longest association is Supernatural, where she played the demon Meg Masters on and off from 2009 to 2020. That show usually treats demons as an excuse for camp; she played the part drier, amused and faintly tired, better company than most of the humans in the room, and it is the reason a large fandom knows her name. Alongside it came Dani on Californication in 2007 and 2008 and Dawn Trager on Sons of Anarchy, another credit not listed here.

Where to start with Rachel Miner
For the performance that matters most, Bully. It is an ugly film on purpose, her Lisa is its engine, and nothing else on this list asks for that much exposure.
Then Supernatural, which is how most people arrived. Her Meg works because she is visibly bored by everyone else in the scene, and picking up her episodes from 2009 onward gives you a decade of a running antagonist who never softens into a mascot.
Around those two: Californication shows comic timing that horror rarely asks her for, Penny Dreadful and The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations are for people who like their genre cheap and mean, and Haven and Terriers are the small parts in decent projects that a working character actor survives on.
