Quinn Lord
Quinn Lord is an actor, born 1999.
Lord was working before he could have read a script unaided. The earliest credit here is voicing Hardy the Hippo on the preschool series ToddWorld in 2004, which squares with the account of a career begun at five, and by 2006 he was on camera in Deck the Halls and Blade: The Series. He played Sam in Trick 'r Treat the following year, which remains the role he is identified with.
The rest of the list has a pattern worth noticing. Young Sean in Firefly Lane. Young Zack in Blade: The Series. Michael at eight years old in Date and Switch. Cousin Joel in Things We Lost in the Fire. Canadian production needed boys who could carry the childhood half of an adult character, matching a grown actor's face and manner in flashback, and Lord kept getting that call. It is a specific and slightly thankless job: you exist to make somebody else's performance make sense.
The Man in the High Castle gave him the longest stretch of real character work, as Thomas Smith across a series with a much heavier register than the Christmas films and talking-dog pictures that fill out his early filmography. He was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Imaginaerum, which is not among the credits listed here.

Where to start with Quinn Lord
Begin with Trick 'r Treat. It is an anthology of interlocking Halloween stories, funny where it should be nasty and nasty where it should be safe, and Lord's Sam is the thread running through it. Almost nobody saw it in a cinema and it became a seasonal fixture anyway.
Then The Man in the High Castle for the serious work, where he plays Thomas Smith inside an alternate-history America that treats its premise as domestic drama rather than spectacle. After that the choice is tonal. Things We Lost in the Fire and Daydream Nation are the adult dramas, The Hole is the kid-scale horror, and Santa Buddies plus Call Me Mrs. Miracle are the December paycheques. Nothing wrong with those; every Canadian child actor has a shelf of them.
