Noah Jupe
Noah Jupe is an actor, born 2005.
Noah Jupe was born in Islington in 2005 and had one of the more remarkable child-actor runs of the last decade. He was picked up early for the television series The Night Manager in 2016, and between 2017 and 2019 he appeared in Suburbicon, Wonder, A Quiet Place, Honey Boy and Ford v Ferrari, which is an absurd sequence of films for anyone, let alone someone in their early teens.
What he is good at is reaction. A Quiet Place is the proof: a film that strips out dialogue and asks him to carry fear, guilt and a father's disappointment on his face alone, and the performance holds even in close-up against adults with far more experience. Ford v Ferrari uses the same quality differently, making him the audience's way into a man too obsessed to explain himself. For Honey Boy he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male.
The transition to adult work is happening now and looks unusually well managed. He played Henry Fraser in The Undoing, Matthew Wertz Jr. in No Sudden Move, Temple Franklin in Franklin and Seth in Lady in the Lake, and in 2025 he took the role of Hamlet in Hamnet. Several more adult leads are queued up, along with a return as Marcus in the third A Quiet Place film.

Where to start with Noah Jupe
A Quiet Place first, and it is not really a contest. The film removes dialogue and hands a child actor the job of carrying its emotional weight in close-up, and he does it.
Then Ford v Ferrari, where he is the way into a father who cannot articulate anything he feels, and Honey Boy, the hardest watch on the list and the best pure acting. Wonder is the gentlest of them and worth seeing for how unsentimentally he plays a kid behaving badly.
For television, The Night Manager shows how early the composure arrived. A Quiet Place Part II extends the first film's best idea rather than repeating it, and Hamnet is the pivot into adult roles, so it is the one to watch if you want to know where he goes next.
