Mohan Kapur
Mohan Kapur is an actor, born 1965.
A dubbing career is invisible by design, and Kapur has spent a good part of his working life inside one. He is a Hindi film actor, a television host who fronted the game show Saanp Seedi on Zee TV, and a voice artist putting Hindi into the mouths of Hollywood leads for Indian releases, which is a specific and unglamorous craft: matching a performance you did not give, at a rhythm you did not choose.
On screen he built the sort of filmography that keeps a working actor working. Priests, doctors, ministers, editors and assistants, across Haunted-3D, Hate Story, Raaz 3, Creature 3D, Zid, Happy New Year and Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, plus Mission Mangal and the Tamil production I. Television handed him better material, notably the security chief in the Indian version of Hostages and a major in Everest.
Then Marvel called. Yusuf Khan in Ms. Marvel is a father written against every stereotype available to him, embarrassing his daughter in a school corridor one minute and quietly explaining what her name means the next, and Kapur plays the warmth without sweetening it. He carried the part into The Marvels and into Daredevil: Born Again, the last of which is not among the credits listed here. After decades of supporting work, that is the role his career will be indexed by.

Where to start with Mohan Kapur
The obvious door is Ms. Marvel, and it happens to be the right one. Yusuf is the warmest thing in the series, a dad who is embarrassing on purpose, and the show gives Kapur one long scene about the meaning of a name that is the best acting in it. The Marvels moves the same family into a bigger, sillier film and gives him less room, so treat it as a follow-up rather than a starting point.
For the Indian work, Hostages is the strongest: a thriller remake that needs its authority figures to be plausible, and he is. Mission Mangal is the crowd-pleasing space-programme picture, Happy New Year the big glossy heist comedy, and Creature 3D a monster movie exactly as daft as it sounds. Heartbeats is the outlier, an American dance romance, and only worth it once you are curious about the edges of the CV.
