Laura Spencer is an actor, born 1986.
Laura Spencer got her break in a format that barely counted as television at the time. In 2012 she played Jane Bennet in The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, a web series shot in vlog form, at a point when a YouTube channel was not yet a recognised route into network work. It worked as one.
What followed is a specific and underrated skill: the recurring guest role. She played the intern Jessica Warren across seasons nine to twelve of Bones, and Emily Sweeney across seasons seven to ten of The Big Bang Theory. Both parts arrive in a long-running show with a settled cast, appear intermittently, and have to register as a whole person in a handful of scenes spread over years. That is harder than it sounds and it is most of what she does.
Away from the big two there is Vanessa in Blue, Caroline in the romance A Christmas Kiss, and Vicky in the 2021 disaster drama 13 Minutes. She also took a guest role on Reservation Dogs, which is not among the credits listed here. Born in Oklahoma City in 1986, she has the kind of resume that never generates a headline and keeps an actor working.

Where to start with Laura Spencer
Start with The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. It is where she is genuinely a lead, the format is still worth seeing as a piece of internet history, and the performance has to survive being shot in close-up on a webcam with nothing to hide behind.
Bones gives her the most screen time of anything here, and her stretch as an intern is one of the better runs in that rotating role. The Big Bang Theory is the widest-seen credit and the more thankless job, since Emily Sweeney exists mainly to bounce off a regular.
The films are minor. 13 Minutes is the most substantial of them, A Christmas Kiss is exactly what the title promises, and Blue is a curiosity from the same early web-video moment that launched her.
