Kiele Sanchez is an actor, born 1977.
Sanchez arrived through network ensembles. Related, The WB's comedy-drama about four sisters, gave her Anne Sorelli in 2005, and she was then cast in the third season of Lost as Nikki Fernandez, a part that came and went quickly. Lost is not among the credits listed here.
What casting directors kept responding to is a specific quality: she reads as competent under threat. She does not play frightened women, she plays capable women in trouble, which is a much more useful thing in genre film and explains the run she has had in it. Gina in A Perfect Getaway, Stella Oleson in 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, Liz in The Purge: Anarchy and the lead of Insanitarium all lean on the same instinct, and A Perfect Getaway in particular gives her more to do than a thriller of that size usually bothers with.
The cable leads are where the acting got room. The Glades ran for four years with her as Callie Cargill, and Kingdom, the mixed martial arts drama, is the best-written thing on her list and the one that treats her as an adult with a history rather than a plot function. Around them sit the network guest spots that keep a working actor working: Criminal Minds, Samantha Who?, Four Kings, Station 19, plus family pictures such as Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium and Benji.

Where to start with Kiele Sanchez
Kingdom first, and it is not close. The show is a grim, physical family drama set around a fight gym, it was watched by almost nobody on a network almost nobody had, and Lisa Prince is the most complete part Sanchez has been given.
A Perfect Getaway is the film to pair with it, a smarter thriller than its premise suggests, with her doing real work in the second half. The Glades is the comfortable one, a sunny Florida procedural where she is the emotional anchor across four seasons. The Purge: Anarchy and 30 Days of Night: Dark Days are the horror credits, the first much better than the second. Related is where it started if you want the network origin story.
