Toronto is where Jessica Greco works, and the first thing most people saw her in was the 1997 television version of the Goosebumps story Welcome to Dead House, where she played Karen Thurston, a girl who is not what the family moving into town takes her for.
Read the credits after that in order and you get an honest picture of a working screen career. The early parts are functional: Trish on Flash Forward, Charlene in Gossip, Sandy Fetko on Mutant X, Brunette at Blue Ridge in The Recruit, Teen Mercy in The Marsh. Somewhere in the middle they acquire names and jobs, Lucinda in Twitches, Judy in Our Fathers, then doctors, Valsky in How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town and Bloom in The Hummingbird Project, and a genuinely unsettling turn as Donna in the horror film Antibirth.
The recent stretch is the strongest. Katherine Heath in Girl in the Bunker, Torri Fuller in Tiny Pretty Things, a bit part in Mrs. America credited simply as Woman #1, Irene in How to Die Alone, Tish Debrauske in Sheriff Country in 2025. The comedy background shows in the timing more than in the material: she is usually the person in a scene who has decided the situation is absurd and has stopped pretending otherwise.

Where to start with Jessica Greco
Antibirth first, if you want to see her act rather than fill a role. It is a grimy, hallucinatory horror film, and her Donna works because she plays the scenes like a comedy that has gone badly wrong.
For something gentler, Twitches is the Disney Channel title a lot of people grew up with, and How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town is a decent Canadian ensemble comedy with her among the funnier presences. Girl in the Bunker is the serious drama pick.
Then the small parts worth spotting: Tiny Pretty Things, The Hummingbird Project, Mrs. America. How to Die Alone and Sheriff Country are the current work, and Sheriff Country is the best evidence that the recurring television roles are getting bigger.
