Jessica DiCicco's first voice job was announcing for Noggin, Nickelodeon's educational channel, and since 2012 she has been the announcer for the Nick Jr. Channel. There is something neat about that: she started as the voice telling children what came next and has never stopped doing it, while building a parallel career as most of the children too.

The trick she is best at is playing siblings who share nothing but a house. In The Loud House she voices both Lucy Loud, a monotone goth child who writes poetry and materialises out of air vents, and Lynn Loud Jr., who is loud, sporty and physically incapable of sitting still. They talk to each other constantly. That is harder than it sounds, and it explains the rest of the resume: Gwen Wu in The Mighty B!, Annie Bramley in It's Pony, Maggie Pesky in The Buzz on Maggie, Selina and Miele in Winx Club, and Flame Princess in Adventure Time, which is the role most viewers know without knowing her name. Her Daytime Emmy nomination came for Malina in The Emperor's New School.

Disney Junior work fills in the younger end, Toby the Cactus in Sheriff Callie's Wild West, Hissy in Puppy Dog Pals, Summer Penguin in Muppet Babies. The feature credits are the honest part of the picture: a few named parts like Mario's Mom in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Shelby in Over the Hedge and Princess in The Secret Life of Pets 2, and a great deal of Additional Voices in Frozen II, Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. This is what a durable animation career looks like from the inside.
