Jamie Gray Hyder is an actor, born 1985.
Jamie Gray Hyder runs three careers at once and only one of them puts her face on screen. A native of Washington, D.C., she did voice and motion capture for Lieutenant Nora Salter in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and voiced the operator Roze in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, reaching an audience most television actors never get near. Neither game is among the credits listed here.
On camera the run is procedural and genre. She played the werewolf Danielle across two seasons of True Blood and Lucia Solano in the second season of Graceland, and from 2019 to 2021 she was Detective Katriona Tamin on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, joining a series that had been on air for two decades before she arrived and taking the newcomer's assignment: ask the questions the audience is already thinking, absorb the exposition, stay likeable.
The third strand is DC animation, where she has become a regular Hawkgirl, in Green Lantern: Beware My Power in 2022 and in both of the Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths films listed here. Animation voice work is some of the steadiest employment in the business and she is well suited to the register it wants, tough without tipping into arch. Marvel's Inhumans and the sitcom Sons of Tucson fill in the earlier television.

Where to start with Jamie Gray Hyder
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is the practical starting point, since her two years there are the largest body of on-camera work she has, though be warned that walking into a show that old means walking into the middle of a great many arcs.
Graceland is the better showcase for range, a tense undercover drama that gives her something to play other than procedure. For the voice work, Green Lantern: Beware My Power is the cleanest Hawkgirl performance and the easiest of the animated films to watch cold, with Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Two and Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three for anyone already invested in that continuity. Marvel's Inhumans is a curiosity and little more.
