Hunter Dillon
Hunter Dillon is an actor, born 2002.
Dillon spent his early teens playing the younger version of other people's characters. He is Young Peter in To All the Boys I've Loved Before, Young Arnold in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Keith's Son in the 2014 film Happy Face Killer, and the Branding Boy in Deadpool 2 and its recut Once Upon a Deadpool. Vancouver, where he was born in 2002, shoots a great deal of American television, and that is visible in almost every line of the list.
A recurring role as Caleb in the second season of Fox's The Exorcist in 2017 was the first real notice. Holly Hobbie, where he played Tyler Flaherty from 2018 to 2022, was the breakout, and it brought a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program or Series.
Since then the steadiest work has been vocal. He has voiced Rodrick Heffley across four animated Diary of a Wimpy Kid films between 2021 and 2025. On camera he has taken smaller and more interesting jobs, Harry in Riceboy Sleeps, Sam in Golden Delicious, Hatcher in The Spiderwick Chronicles, Justin in Family Law. It is an early career, and the honest summary is that the role he will be known for has probably not happened yet.

Where to start with Hunter Dillon
There is no masterpiece to point at yet, so choose by what you actually want. Holly Hobbie is the largest role and the one the award nomination came from, and the only place to watch him carry a story week to week.
Riceboy Sleeps is the best film here by a distance and worth seeing whether or not you care about him. Golden Delicious is the other serious one, a Vancouver coming-of-age picture. With children in the house, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid animations are where his voice has lived for the last few years, and The Spiderwick Chronicles is the mainstream television version of the same thing. The Exorcist is for the horror crowd only.
