Hina Suguta
Hina Suguta is an actor, born 1995.
Voice acting and pop music are close to the same job inside the BanG Dream! franchise, and Hina Suguta does both. She is a voice actress affiliated with the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, and she is a member of Morfonica, one of the franchise's bands, where she also voices the character she performs as, Toko Kirigaya. Playing a fictional musician and then touring as her is a common arrangement in Japanese voice acting, and it has shaped her working life more than any single anime role.
With one exception. Marin Kitagawa in My Dress-Up Darling is the part that made her widely known outside the franchise, and it is a demanding one: a character who talks fast, loudly and almost continuously, whose entire comic effect depends on enthusiasm that never reads as false. That is much harder to sustain across a series than it sounds, and Suguta does it without the shrillness the role invites.
The rest of the work spreads across the current wave of television anime: Yura in Call of the Night, Haruka in Afterlost, Casey Grove in Secrets of the Silent Witch, a small part in the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel film. Her BanG Dream! credits stack up beside them, from the short-form Girls Band Party PICO to the feature films.

Where to start with Hina Suguta
My Dress-Up Darling is the only sensible starting point. Marin is the role she is known for, the show is a good-looking romantic comedy that takes its hobby subject seriously, and her performance is the engine of the whole thing. Two episodes will tell you whether you want more of her.
For the other half of the job, the BanG Dream! material is where the singing lives: BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!☆PICO is the silly short-form entry, while BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage and BanG Dream! Poppin'Dream! are the features, which make far more sense once you know she is performing the songs as well as the lines.
Then the supporting work. Call of the Night is the best-directed show she has been in, Secrets of the Silent Witch is the most recent, and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a blink of a part in a very big film.
