Han So-hee
Han So-hee is an actor, born 1993.
Han So-hee, born Lee So-hee in Ulsan in 1993, spent three years in the supporting slots Korean television hands to new actresses: Money Flower and Reunited Worlds in 2017, 100 Days My Prince in 2018, Abyss in 2019. Then The World of the Married made her, in 2020, in the part nobody wants, the younger woman in the affair, written to be loathed by an entire national audience.
She played it without asking for sympathy, which is the choice that made her interesting rather than notorious, and it bought her the right to choose. What she chose was variety. Nevertheless in 2021 is a slow, moody campus romance with almost no plot and a great deal of atmosphere. My Name, from the same year, is a revenge thriller in which she does the fighting herself, and it was the moment the industry stopped treating her as a face. Gyeongseong Creature in 2023 put her in a period monster series with a budget behind it.
The move now is toward film: Heavy Snow in 2024 and Project Y in 2026. She is one of the few actresses of her cohort who has never gone back and repeated the role that made her, and that discipline is the most interesting thing about the career so far.

Where to start with Han So-hee
My Name is the best starting point, ahead of the more famous one. It is a revenge thriller with real weight to its violence, and Han carries it physically in a way almost nobody expected of her at the time.
Then The World of the Married for the performance that built the career, if you can take a marital drama pitched at maximum volume from the first scene. Nevertheless, is the opposite register entirely, quiet and indecisive and much better acted than its reputation suggests, and Gyeongseong Creature is the big-budget genre swing.
For the early work, Money Flower and 100 Days My Prince show what she was being cast as before 2020, and Soundtrack #1 is a short romance you can finish in an evening. Heavy Snow is where the film career starts.
