Diamond White
Diamond White is an actor, born 1999.
White was a teenager competing on the second season of the American X Factor, and she did not win, which turned out to be beside the point. She had a voice, and voice work is where the career went.
Disney took her first. Ruby on Sofia the First, additional voices in the Phineas and Ferb films, and then Fuli, the cheetah of The Lion Guard, across the pilot film Return of the Roar, the series itself and The Rise of Scar. Netflix's Pinky Malinky followed, and later Barbie Mysteries. It is a resume built out of the kind of jobs that are invisible unless you have children, and it made her genuinely good at the craft: her line readings are quick, unfussy and never do the cute-child voice.
The role that made her a lead is Lunella Lafayette in Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, a child genius who is also a normal thirteen-year-old, which is a much harder balance than it sounds. She has carried the character across the series, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, a LEGO Marvel special and a Disney short.
In live action she held a contract role on The Bold and the Beautiful as Paris Buckingham from late 2020 to the middle of 2024, played Tiffany in two Madea Halloween films and again in Madea's Destination Wedding in 2025, was Rayna in F the Prom, and had a run on Dear White People.

Where to start with Diamond White
Start at Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, by some distance the best-made thing on this page: bright, fast, musically ambitious, and White is the whole engine of it. If you want to hear the range in the same character, Spidey and His Amazing Friends plays the same girl for a much younger audience.
The Lion Guard is the long apprenticeship, and Fuli is the most fun of the ensemble. Pinky Malinky is the strangest thing she has voiced and the closest to actual comedy writing. For live action, The Bold and the Beautiful holds nearly four years of her, and Dear White People is the better-written option. Boo! A Madea Halloween is exactly what it looks like, and she is one of the few people in it playing an actual character.
