Cindy Robinson
The most widely heard thing Cindy Robinson has ever recorded is an announcement nobody credited her for. She voices the Purge Emergency Broadcast System, the flat and courteous bulletin that opens the annual free-for-all in the Purge films, and on the first one she appears uncredited.
That is a fair sample of the career. Robinson is an American voice actress whose range runs from official-sounding calm to full cartoon squeak, and most of the roles that made her name are in games and anime: Queen Beryl in Sailor Moon, Makoto Nanaya in the BlazBlue series, Astrid in Skyrim, Zafina in Tekken, Minerva, Libra and Hinoka in Fire Emblem, Kukaku Shiba and Kiyone Kotetsu in Bleach, and Betty Boop in commercials. None of those are among the credits listed here, which are the film and television ones.
What the screen credits do show is stamina inside a single franchise. Across a dozen Monster High features she plays Operetta and, more usefully, both Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde, the two halves of one student, which means arguing with herself on a regular basis. She is Madeline Hatter through the Ever After High films, Amy Rose plus three other parts in Sonic Boom, and she turns up in the 2016 Powerpuff Girls and in ThunderCats Roar. It is not glamorous work, and it is not meant to be. This is the steady franchise voicing that keeps an entire category of animation on the air, done by someone the credits rarely stop to introduce.

Where to start with Cindy Robinson
Start with The Purge and pay attention to the broadcast rather than the masks: that measured, almost hospitable voice is Robinson, and it sets the tone of the whole franchise more efficiently than most of the cast does. The Purge: Anarchy and The First Purge give her the same job with a credit attached.
For the cartoon register, Sonic Boom is the easiest way in, since she plays Amy Rose and three more parts alongside her. Then pick any Monster High: Monster High: 13 Wishes is a good one because it hands her Operetta plus both sides of the Jekyll and Hyde pair in the same film. Ever After High is the softer, sillier companion piece, with Madeline Hatter as the closest thing she has to a signature comic part.
