Christina Vidal Mitchell is an actor, born 1981.
Her first credit is Life with Mikey in 1993, as Angie Vega, and the teenage years went where teenagers get hired: All That on Nickelodeon, Cynthia in Welcome to the Dollhouse, Gabriella in the Disney Channel film Brink!.
Sitcom leads followed. She starred in Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher, then carried Taina, a series named for her character, and much later Primo. Neither Nick Freno nor Primo is among the credits gathered here.
The adult career went to procedurals and horror, which is where a lot of former child actors find steady work: Christine in See No Evil and again in See No Evil 2 eight years later, Deputy Gabriela Lopez in 10-8, Det. Valeria Chavez in Training Day, Cecilia Cruz in The Player, Rachel Esposito in The Deep End, Ayala in Grand Hotel, Sgt. Denise Wade in The Guilty, Mac Wilson in The Terminal List.
Then Freakier Friday brought Maddie back in 2025, twenty-two years after Freaky Friday. Reprising a supporting part in a teen comedy after two decades is rare, and it says something about how fondly the first one is remembered, and about how little the industry usually needs from the people standing in the second row.

Where to start with Christina Vidal Mitchell
Both Fridays, in order. Freaky Friday is the good one and it holds up because the leads commit to the premise without hedging; Maddie is a small part played with real specificity. Freakier Friday is the reunion, and better than a sequel twenty-two years late has any right to be.
For the adult work, The Guilty is the tightest thing on the list, a single-location thriller in which she is a voice on a phone line doing a great deal with very little. See No Evil and See No Evil 2 are the slashers, and the second is the better film. Welcome to the Dollhouse is the prestige credit from her childhood. Brink! and Taina are nostalgia aimed at one specific generation. The Terminal List is the largest recent audience.
