Christian Keyes
Christian Keyes is an actor, born 1975.
Theatre did the training here. Keyes came up through stage plays rather than a drama-school pedigree, moved from there into television and film, and added singer, author and producer to the resume over time, which is the standard survival kit for a working actor whose bread comes from independent and cable production rather than studio features. He was born in Detroit and raised in Flint.
The screen credits sketch the arc plainly enough. He turns up in Diary of a Mad Black Woman in 2005 in a part billed as Man Proposing, a role with a function rather than a name. Fifteen-odd years later he is in the regular cast of ongoing series: Levi on Saints & Sinners, Robin Taylor on All Rise, a place in All the Queen's Men. The genre shows borrow him for presence, Desmond on DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Nathan on The Boys.
He is a big, charming, camera-friendly actor and the material has mostly asked for exactly that. The interesting question, still open, is what a director does with him when the part needs something other than authority.

Where to start with Christian Keyes
The strongest case for him is All Rise, a courtroom drama that gives him a character with a job and a life rather than a silhouette. After that, Saints & Sinners is the long-form melodrama where he does the most sustained work, and All the Queen's Men is the broadest version of the same lane, made for viewers who want their melodrama undiluted.
The genre appearances are shorter. The Boys and DC's Legends of Tomorrow each use him for a few scenes, and both are worth watching for entirely other reasons. Diary of a Mad Black Woman is where the on-screen career begins, in a part small enough that you will have to be looking for him.
