Cheryl Francis Harrington
Cheryl Francis Harrington's steadiest credit is a voice one. She played Mambo Garcelle DuPris, the Haiti Lady, on the stop-motion sitcom The PJs, a show that gave its supporting characters more personality than most live-action comedies manage to hand their leads.
The rest of the filmography is the working actor's reality in Los Angeles: single scenes, sharply drawn, in other people's movies. A social worker in Into the Wild. An outraged woman in Domino. A car rental worker in The Perfect Host. A customs agent in Surfer, Dude. She is also the woman who interviews Phoebe in a fourth-season episode of Friends, a credit not listed among the ones here.
There is not a great deal more on the record, and inflating it would be a disservice. The pattern is a performer trusted to walk in, land one exchange cleanly, and leave the scene better than she found it, which is a real skill and one that casting directors kept coming back for across two decades.

Where to start with Cheryl Francis Harrington
The only credit here that lets her build a character rather than a moment is The PJs, so start there; the show is worth revisiting anyway for how strange it looks.
For the film work, Into the Wild is comfortably the best movie on the list and she has a small scene in it. Domino is a chaotic Tony Scott picture that uses bit players the way other films use set dressing, and The Perfect Host is a nasty little thriller worth an evening on its own merits.
Surf School and Surfer, Dude are the bottom of the barrel and fairly honest about that, while For Your Love is the sitcom credit for anyone tracing nineties Black television.
