Charlie Jane Anders
Charlie Jane Anders is an American writer of speculative fiction whose novels All the Birds in the Sky and The City in the Middle of the Night won major awards, including the Nebula Award for Best Novel and the Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. All three books in her young adult Unstoppable trilogy won the Locus Award for Best Young Adult Book. She has also taken a Hugo Award for Best Related Work, which recognises the criticism and community building she does around the field as much as the fiction itself, and she writes a great deal of short fiction.

A People's Future of the United States is the best of them, political science fiction with real anger in it.
