Brian Rooney
Rooney is a Northern Irish born Australian actor whose best-known work came while he was still a child. He played Michael Winters in the Australian medical drama G.P., Leonard in the children's series The Ferals, and Alex Katsonis in the children's fantasy series Spellbinder (1995). Of those three, only Spellbinder is among the credits listed here.
The rest of this page is sparse and brackets that period at both ends: Tommy Franco in the 1989 film of The Punisher, and a clerk in the 2013 film of The Great Gatsby. The bulk of his work has been Australian television and stage, and very little of it is documented here.

Where to start with Brian Rooney
The only real entry point is Spellbinder, and it is a better children's series than its budget suggests, built on a premise most adult science fiction would be happy with. Alex is a supporting part, so watch it for the show rather than the performance.
The two film credits are both small. The Punisher is the first attempt at that character on screen and he plays Tommy Franco in it. The Great Gatsby gives him a bit part as a clerk. Neither is a reason to seek him out. The childhood television is.
