Beverley Mitchell
Beverley Mitchell is an actor, born 1981.
Mitchell was a working actor before she was a teenager: guest spots across American television, a young Nancy Sinatra in the CBS miniseries Sinatra in 1992, Clare on the series Phenom, and Grace in The Crow: City of Angels. Then 7th Heaven premiered in 1996 and took the next eleven years of her life.
Lucy Camden is the role, and the interesting thing about it is duration. Mitchell was a teenager when the series began and an adult with a married surname on the character sheet by the time it ended in 2007, playing one continuous person through school and adulthood on a family drama that survived the move from The WB to The CW. Very few performers get to age inside a single character at that scale. The trade is that the character follows you out of the building.
She has mostly not fought that. The exception is Saw II, where she plays Laura Hunter and the casting itself does half the work, since the audience arrived knowing her from a decade of wholesome network drama and the film knew it too. Kaitlin O'Malley on The Secret Life of the American Teenager kept her in the same neighbourhood, and the years since have been television films and unscripted appearances: Dr. Noelle Collins in Hometown Christmas, Isabelle in the thriller Toxin, Right on Track back in 2003, plus Trading Spaces early and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test and Celebrity Weakest Link much later.

Where to start with Beverley Mitchell
Nobody comes to this page without 7th Heaven in mind, so start there and treat it as what it is: a long-running family drama where the pleasure is watching a cast grow up in real time. Her performance is the least mannered thing in it.
The counter-programme is Saw II, which works precisely because she carries eleven years of network wholesomeness into a horror franchise, and the film uses the contrast rather than hiding it. The Secret Life of the American Teenager is the closest thing to a follow-up role.
After that the honest ranking is short. The Crow: City of Angels is a curiosity from her child-actor years, Right on Track is the family sports film, Hometown Christmas is exactly what the title promises, and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test is the most revealing recent thing she has done.
