Ben Davidson
Ben Davidson made his name in football, not film. A defensive end, he played mostly for the Oakland Raiders of the American Football League and was a three-time AFL All-Star there, after earlier spells with the Green Bay Packers and Washington in the NFL. He was very large, and the handlebar moustache made him recognisable to people who never watched a game in their lives.
The acting came afterwards and traded on both facts. He is an uncredited player in the football sequence of M*A*S*H in 1970, Ted Millibank in the short-lived rescue series Code R, and a convict footballer in Necessary Roughness in 1991. The one part that asks him to act is Rexor in Conan the Barbarian, second in command to the snake cult, and he is a genuinely imposing screen villain in it: no dialogue tricks, just physical presence used properly.

Where to start with Ben Davidson
There is really only one reason to seek him out, and it is a good one: Rexor in Conan the Barbarian. The part is close to wordless and still has to register as a threat standing next to James Earl Jones, and Davidson manages it on scale and stillness alone.
The rest is spotting work. M*A*S*H puts him in the football game late in the film, uncredited and obvious once you know to look. Necessary Roughness casts him almost literally as himself, a convict on a college team. Code R is a mid-seventies rescue series that has largely vanished from circulation, and counts as a curiosity rather than a recommendation.
