Becky G
The music came first and still carries the weight. Becky G, born Rebbeca Marie Gomez, started posting cover versions on YouTube in 2011, released the single Becky from the Block and the EP Play It Again in 2013 to no chart activity at all, and then broke through in 2014 with Shower, which reached the top twenty of the US Hot 100. In 2016 she released Sola, her first Spanish-language single and the start of a deliberate move into the Latin market. Almost none of that is visible on a screen credits page, because the records are not among the credits listed here.
What the filmography holds is a sideline pursued seriously. Power Rangers in 2017 gave her Trini, the Yellow Ranger, and is the only role here with enough screen time to judge properly. She is fine in it, better in the quieter scenes than in the suit. A-X-L put her opposite a robot dog in a teen adventure that wanted to be bigger than it was. Blue Beetle used her voice for Khaji-Da, the alien intelligence arguing with the hero inside his own head, which is a smart bit of casting since her singing voice is the recognisable asset.
The rest is documentary and awards-show appearances as herself. It is a musician's filmography, which is what it should be.

Where to start with Becky G
Power Rangers is the only entry here that gives her a character to build, so start there whatever you think of the film. Trini is the most interesting Ranger in that script and she plays the isolation straight rather than for teen-movie beats.
Blue Beetle is the better film by some distance, though her contribution is entirely vocal, and it is worth hearing how much personality gets into a part with no face attached. A-X-L is for people who like their teen adventures uncomplicated, and Gnome Alone is a children's animation you can leave running.
